About the Role
The Coordinator, Grassroots Marketing is the backbone of our grassroots marketing efforts. This individual will be deeply embedded in the day-to-day coordination of events, activations, campaigns, and community outreach, ensuring that Wonder Project’s titles are reaching their fullest potential in terms of community and faith-based engagement.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage all grassroots and word-of-mouth screenings, as well as develop tools and resources tailored to local communities, faith organizations, and educational institutions. They will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure the effective dissemination of materials that promote Wonder Project’s slate.
Day to Day
- Coordinate and help to manage grassroots marketing events, activations, and campaigns from start to finish.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Wonder Project and partners (churches, community leaders, educational institutions) to ensure the delivery of title assets, campaign materials, and community engagement specifics.
- Manage grassroots and WOM screenings (word-of-mouth), ensuring all logistics, coordination, and follow-up are executed seamlessly.
- Assist in the development of educational resources for content marketing, particularly for historical/period dramas and faith-based titles.
- Identify and develop relationships with community leaders, churches, and educational institutions that can further the reach of Wonder Project titles through targeted resources.
- Track and report weekly and monthly metrics on engagement, views, and subscriber growth from grassroots efforts across the entire marketing team.
- Assist in the creation of internal and external decks, presentations, and materials for community, brand, faith, and studio partners.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in managing sensitive matters, ensuring proper handling of materials and communication.
- Attend internal and external meetings to capture notes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-ups across teams and partners.
- Create meeting agendas to ensure alignment across all internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in grassroots marketing, community engagement, and event coordination, specifically within a studio environment.
- Strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Box, Notion, and other project management tools.
- Ability to create internally and externally facing presentations and decks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and executive-level materials.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong bias toward action.
- Ability to maintain relationships with community leaders, faith leaders, and educational institutions.
- Experience in managing grassroots campaigns, event coordination, and community engagement.
- Ability to manage and track metrics across various marketing tasks and disciplines.
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
Benefits, Unlimited PTO, FSA, 401k
