Role Objectives:

The WEP Clinical Senior Pricing and Proposals Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales of WEP service lines, from initial discussions with potential customers through to the Project Management handoff. The Senior Pricing and Proposals Specialist will coordinate and support the proposal (RFI, RFP, etc.) response process, working closely with the proposal team to ensure the preparation of high-quality, client-focused proposals and budgets. The Senior Pricing and Proposals Specialist will mentor and train junior team members while also supporting the broader teams by providing training on Commercial Operations processes. This role will also contribute to financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes to support overall business objectives.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development and implementation of proposal processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance across all submissions.
  • Mentor junior team members on proposal best practices and continuous process improvements.
  • Draft and review quotes, RFIs, and RFPs, coordinating closely with Business Development and operational teams.
  • Build and manage proposal budgets, incorporating departmental input and aligning with company cost structures.
  • Conduct detailed P&L analyses, pricing updates, and cost evaluations to support strategic pricing decisions.
  • Perform accurate ERP data entry to enable reliable contract billing and forecasting.
  • Monitor and evaluate RFP outcomes, maintain the content library, and manage the master vendor/RFP question list.
  • Serve as the point of contact for pricing-related customer and vendor inquiries, leading negotiations and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Review and track contract terms to ensure compliance with obligations and changes over time.
  • Collaborate on bid defense presentations and proposal messaging to align with the company's value proposition.
  • Analyze trends, identify business growth opportunities, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional accountability and strategic alignment in the delivery of pricing, proposals, and growth initiatives.


What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, and Finance (preferred)
  • 4-5 years of experience in proposals and pricing (preferred)
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
