The Marketing Specialist will work in conjunction with the Marketing Supervisor to execute and contribute to the overall Marketing strategy, as directed by the Vice President of Marketing and Strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies that support the continued growth of Vision Bank. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Marketing Campaign Support
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Help produce and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital content.
- Maintain the bank's online presence by updating the website, posting on social media, and assisting with email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Content Creation and Management
- Manage all content aspects of employee Intranet
- Ensure brand consistency in all marketing efforts and adhere to the bank's visual identity guidelines.
- Create engaging content for various marketing channels, such as bank message boards, ATMs, customer communication tools, blog posts, social media updates, websites, press releases, product marketing materials, external advertising copy and email newsletters to support promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Content creation will include graphic design, copyrighting, video production and more.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation based on lines of business.
- Track newsworthy research and events for news releases and feature stories and develop pitching and distribution strategy and tracks results.
- Help manage content calendars, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Provide communication, design, and other support to areas outside of the marketing department to promote key initiatives including growth, efficiency, customer experience, and employee experience.
- Digital Marketing
- Develop and execute comprehensive content & digital marketing strategies that align with overall marketing goals to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across multiple online platforms.
- Plan, manage, and optimize paid campaigns to increase reach.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO audits and implement SEO tactics to optimize content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Supervisor to plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and services, including audience segmentation and performance analysis.
- Create customer journey mapping to understand and map out customer journeys to enhance lead nurturing and conversion processes.
- Optimize the use of other digital tools such as the app, online banking portal, etc.
- Analyze and implement new channels of promotion like SMS, Nextdoor or WhatsApp.
- Maintain and deliver monthly reports for content & digital tool performance using analytics tools, measuring and testing the effectiveness of the marketing efforts and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Market Research
- Conduct basic market research to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities for new marketing initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activities, campaigns, and industry best practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations with findings, insights, and recommendations for the marketing team.
- Marketing Supply Management:
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of marketing materials: collateral and promotional items inventory log.
- Lead bi-weekly distribution of marketing supplies to bank branches and departments
- Other Duties:
- Collaborate with compliance and risk team to ensure all content and designs meet regulatory compliance standards prior to distribution.
- Keen understanding of customer experience, including website user experience
- Assists with audit and examination preparation related to all marketing efforts.
- Shares in proofreading all marketing materials.
- Invoice Processing.
- Community event involvement.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Successful candidates are organized, independent, highly creative, and detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired competencies include:
- Strong organizational, time management, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and department performance standards.
- Advanced skills and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with photography or video editing is a strong plus.
- Previous experience with CRM systems, email marketing tools, Canva, social media scheduling software, and other common marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proofreading and copy-editing skills

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or business-related field.
- A minimum of two years in related field with strong knowledge of SEO, social media and analytics; experience in banking or professional financial services is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the top social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram).
