This is a hybrid role based out of our office in New York, NY. The Target Pay Range for this position is $136,000 - $169,800 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training, and budget.
Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Global Corporate Communications (Lab Operations) is responsible for helping with the development of plans and driving execution of corporate communications in line with the Antech lab operations and business strategies including proactive corporate and brand reputation management, executive visible leadership, change management, internal and leadership communications, including leading on issues management for lab operations. The role will lead communications across our global Antech veterinary laboratory operations as well as partner with the broader Science & Diagnostics divisional communications programs and initiatives as required.

Education & Professional Qualifications:
Approximately 10 years relevant professional experience in related work or corporate communications.
Bachelor’s degree or community college in communications, marketing, journalism, or associated profession is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge / Experience:
Excellent writer with ability to condense technical information into accurate content for multiple audiences.
Experience with visible leadership and executive communications a must (internal and LinkedIn)
Proven success in developing and executing communications plans and campaigns locally, regionally and globally.
Experience in change and internal communications, and wide stakeholder engagement.
Experience in delivering communications and content aligned to the business
Experience in successfully working closely and effectively with senior leaders in multiple locations in a complex, matrixed organization.
Proven success in navigating complex organizations and dealing with multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of handling crisis communications.
Ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams.
Tech, science, or human or animal health communications experience a plus.
Ability to travel (up to 20%).
Key Responsibilities
Help establish and drive the long- and short-term global communications strategy and plans for global veterinary labs, including corporate communications, internal communications, executive visibility and business communications, change management, issues management, story development, proactive news sharing (mainly internal audiences), Associate attraction and retention.
Develop and drive effective and engaging internal (and external where necessary) storytelling that is relevant and effective at engaging and activating key audiences and changing behavior.
Crisis/issues communication planning and content writing, acting in a timely manner to minimize situations that can be threatening and or financially damaging to the company and the labs where we operate globally.
Play an active role in the global Petcare and wider Mars external communications community, providing perspective and engagement on global issues and reputation building.
Ensure communications program impact is benchmarked, measured, and reported and drives continuous improvement across comms executions and plans for the division.
Represent Science & Diagnostics and Antech to:1) minimize situations that can be threatening and or financially damaging to the company, the brands, or the sites where we operate; and 2) take advantage of opportunities to positively position as relevant (drive reputation).
