Job Description
The Enterprise Strategy – Senior Vice President leads all facets of strategy projects and manages a team of two to three consultants. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Strategy.
U.S. Bank's Enterprise Strategy team is a high-performing group with a mix of ex-consultants, bankers, and other experienced professionals. Enterprise Strategy leads the creation of the U.S. Bank strategy and enterprise strategic planning across all business lines and corporate functions. The Enterprise Strategy team supports business lines in strategy development and works collaboratively with other teams in the Enterprise Strategy and Administration Office. Assigned and sourced projects may be enterprise-wide or focused with a specific line of business or function.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee multiple projects at a time, often flexing between different roles across projects
Scope the problem and identify an appropriate approach to efficiently complete the work
Ensure a structured problem-solving methodology to deliver thorough recommendations
Lead through others to get the work done, within Enterprise Strategy and with partners
Work independently when required, including conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
Manage project execution to ensure deadlines and commitments are met
Bring partners along with the work to ensure a joint solution that has buy-in
Be an effective people leader, helping develop the Enterprise Strategy team
Engage with senior leaders and build trusted relationships across the organization
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience.
A minimum of two years leading enterprise-scope strategy projects and working teams
Preferred Skills
Two or more years at a top external consulting firm highly preferred
Experience in financial services highly preferred
Experience leading a team
Expert ability at breaking down a problem and structuring work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled at leading work through others while maintaining a full grasp of the content
Adept at team leadership and helping employees develop critical consulting skills
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with qualitative and quantitative analysis
Able to get up to speed fast on a new topic while trusting the experts

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00 - $220,330.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
