Overview                                                                                          

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient BI Developer / Data Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and BI reporting solutions to support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Tableau, SQL, Python, and has hands-on experience with Snowflake. They should be capable of working independently, effectively gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders, and translating those needs into scalable and insightful data solutions.

What You'll Do?

●       Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and workbooks to support business needs.

●       Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake data warehouse.

●       Develop robust Python-based data pipelines to automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation.

●       Collaborate with business users to gather and understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

●       Optimize and manage Snowflake-based data models to ensure performance and scalability.

●       Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance across reporting solutions.

●       Document processes, data definitions, and workflows for cross-functional clarity.

●       Work independently to manage projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

●       3+ years of relevant development experience, preferably in e-commerce and specifically the Shopify platform

●       Experience with Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools

●       Proficiency in Python and SQL for backend development.

●       DevOps experience with AWS is a plus.

●       Ability to work effectively within a small team and manage multiple tasks independently.

●       Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dive deep into troubleshooting.

●       Collaborative mindset with a focus on analytical thinking and solution-based approaches.

●       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Salary Range: $150k-$175k year

Hybrid position: In Soho office Tuesday-Thursday.
