Job Description

Ubisoft is currently seeking a temporary Public Relations Specialist to join its communications team in San Francisco. This is for a 12 month contract. The Communications Specialist will report to the Associate Director, Global Publishing Communications, and will be responsible for supporting multiple game titles with a focus on global planning and execution.

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for liaising with local territory communications teams as well as working cross-functionally with other business units. An ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communications skills, is well-organized and able to juggle multiple ongoing projects and team player.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and implement communication strategies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure strategy alignment and execution
  • Craft press releases, pitches, Q&As and communications plans
  • Deliver concise, timely and informative reporting. Provide post-mortem analysis and competitive analysis
  • Work closely with local territory communications to ensure optimal results worldwide
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events
  • Manage expenses to ensure budgets remain within desired projections
  • Brief local territories on upcoming activations and handle asset management
  • May include travel for briefings, events and/or activations

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 1-4 years’ experience in communications
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment including problem solving
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

The San Francisco base salary range for this position is $30 - $38 hourly.
