Job Description

This is a unique, fully remote opportunity for an aspiring sales professional to build a career in Sales and Marketing. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be part of the growth hub at TrustEngine.

Your focus will be to seek out and proactively engage prospects, qualify inbound leads into sales opportunities, and drive steady growth of our sales pipeline. The SDR involves both driving new logo demos for our Enterprise sales team and developing your own Small Teams prospects into “Closed Won” deals.

In this role, you will get the chance to learn from a dynamic team of professionals with multiple decades of combined experience in demand generation and sales. While you will report to TrustEngine’s Vice President of Marketing, your day-to-day work will be coached by a more senior SDR who can provide you with valuable tips about connecting with senior decision makers in the mortgage industry.

Since you will be part of the broader marketing team, you will get “front row” access to  cutting-edge digital lead-generation campaigns. You will also benefit from powerful sales enablement technology that will boost the effectiveness of your sales development outreach. 

  • Nurture promising prospects, qualify leads, schedule demos, and close new accounts through:
  • Outbound sales development by email, social media, and cold calling
  • Qualification of inbound leads from marketing campaigns
  • Scheduling demos for and warm handoff of new logo opportunities to the Enterprise sales team
  • “Full cycle” development of Small Teams opportunities from Demo to “Closed Won” stage
  • Supporting the Customer Experience team’s “expansion” campaigns among existing customers

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Effective and persuasive oral and written communication
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with CRM / MarTech data will be strongly preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Technology savvy; proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce or other major CRMs strongly preferred
  • Enterprise SaaS direct sales experience preferred but not a requirement
  • Past experience with cold calling a strong plus
  • Affinity and / or experience with the mortgage industry a definite plus

Salary: $45,000-$50,000 on-target variable eligible of $25,000.
