GroupeSTAHL is a leading international manufacturer, distributor and direct supplier in the field of custom textile printing.

What you'll be doing:

The EHS Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization. This role supports manufacturing operations by partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify hazards, prevent incidents, and implement effective environmental, health, and safety programs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and well-versed in OSHA and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure a safe work environment by partnering with leadership across departments.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors; recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead or facilitate the resolution of safety issues through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct, lead, or support accident investigations; perform root cause analysis and communicate findings and preventive measures to leadership.
  • Develop, update, and maintain site-specific EHS documentation, including manuals, procedures, instructions, and training records.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the safety documentation system.
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of safety supplies and materials.
  • Design and oversee new hire safety orientations and annual safety trainings.
  • Serve as a resource and advisor to safety teams and site personnel on day-to-day safety practices.
  • Collaborate with facility safety teams to ensure consistency and alignment in safety programs across locations.
  • Act as the site subject matter expert on EHS programs and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in annual certifications, regulatory reporting, OSHA compliance efforts, and required safety training.
  • Drive the development and execution of site-specific Safety Plans and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field; OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS-related role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Experience conducting training and facilitating compliance documentation and audits.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience with EHS management software or documentation systems preferred
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred
  • Environmental reporting experience (e.g., EPA, local permitting) preferred
