Our Fredericksburg Fuel Plant has a new opportunity for a Customer Service Representative (CSR). A CSR is a people-oriented team member that provides outstanding customer service to support our overall fuel operations in a safe, profitable, and efficient way. This position will typically work 32 hours a week, working four 8-hour shifts. Days off during the week may change based on business needs, so flexibility is required. During the cold winter season, additional hours/days may be required. This position is full time, benefit eligible.

Requirements

  • Serve as a liaison between customers, drivers and technicians, ensuring effective communication and exceptional customer service
  • Assist our Logistics and Service managers with coordinating delivery and work orders, gas leak calls, and any other timely customer work needs
  • Develop and maintain excellent “Tiger Way” customer service to internal and external customers
  • Utilize specialized software programs to monitor and direct drivers and equipment to access and enter financial information including inventory, and to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Communicate with customers, providing account and delivery information
  • Develop and maintain efficient processes for delivery and service scheduling
  • Prepare forms, including billings, statements, invoices, receipts, or vendor data, and process delivery tickets
  • Perform a variety of tasks while working under general supervision in a rapid-pace environment
  • Responsible for any other tasks and duties as assigned, which may or may not relate to the normal scope of this position


Qualifications and Experience


1-2 years’ experience in direct customer service

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Complex problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact well with others in a team environment
  • Displays a positive, “can-do” attitude and excellent customer services skills
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • General experience with accounting concepts and software programs
  • Familiarity with the geography of Charlottesville, Albemarle and surrounding counties
  • Background and Drug Screen required
