This role requires a professional who brings a deep understanding of the eCommerce conversion funnel, demonstrates a strong analytical mindset, and is comfortable translating customer insights into tangible improvements. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented – someone who can identify opportunities, test solutions, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive measurable business impact.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

UX Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute UX strategies focused on optimizing the eCommerce funnel – from homepage through checkout – to increase engagement, reduce friction, and improve conversion.
  • Identify and address key friction points in navigation, layout, and checkout flow through user research, heatmaps, and analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with design, development, and marketing teams to deliver consistent, on-brand, and conversion-focused UX enhancements.
  • Stay ahead of emerging UX/UI trends and tools, integrating best practices to ensure Teleflora remains a leader in digital experience.

User-Centered Design & Testing

  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate concepts and drive alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and manage A/B and multivariate tests to validate design decisions, improve usability, and optimize site interactions.
  • Capture and integrate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, usability testing, and survey data into UX improvement plans.
  • Partner with the creative team to translate customer insights into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Data-Driven Optimization

  • Use behavioral analytics, customer feedback, and session data to understand user intent and inform UX strategies.
  • Work with the Analytics team to define KPIs, track performance metrics (e.g., bounce rate, time on site, conversion rates), and create dashboards to measure UX impact.
  • Translate behavioral and performance data into clear, prioritized actions that directly impact KPIs such as bounce rate, cart abandonment, and conversion rate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a key stakeholder and UX advocate in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure cohesive execution of site enhancements and campaigns.
  • Align UX goals with eCommerce and brand initiatives to ensure a unified digital presence.

Key Objectives

  • Deliver a streamlined and intuitive user experience that drives measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain a customer-first, data-informed UX culture focused on innovation and experimentation.
  • Support product merchandising teams by ensuring that the digital presentation of products is aligned with UX standards and usability principles (secondary responsibility).

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce-focused UX strategy, conversion optimization, or digital experience management.
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design, user psychology, and UX research methodologies.
    • Please note: This is not a visual design position. The role is focused on user experience strategy, optimization, and execution.
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
  • Strong proficiency in using analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, ContentSquare) and A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize) to inform UX decisions.
  • A resourceful, results-oriented mindset with a passion for improving the digital customer journey in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
