What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced media planner who is well versed in digital media, including programmatic, display, content syndication, endemic partnerships, etc. As a Media Planner you will lead media strategy, planning and buying for our clients and bring new ideas to our client programs. You will proactively review performance metrics and provide recommendations for campaign optimizations. We want a passionate professional who can grow with our media team and business.
What you will do
Media Strategy and Planning
- Development of media strategies and plans designed to achieve campaign objectives
- Review and analysis of media opportunities available through various partners
- Cultivate media partnerships, draft and submit RFPs and evaluate proposals
- Creation and management of media channel/partner insertion orders
- Negotiation and management of media partners on behalf of clients
- Review and analysis of media plan performance
- Provide proactive recommendation on media plan optimizations to drive performance
- Management and reconciliation of media budget and buys
Client and Team Leadership
- Provide a point of view on media best practices to clients and internal teams
- Educate clients and internal teams on digital tactics including programmatic, partnerships, native, content syndication, etc.
- Present paid media strategies to a diverse range of clients, including complex, global B2B
- Collaborate with TMP team members to develop comprehensive campaign strategies
- Leverage client insights and campaign briefs to create a relevant target audience for campaigns
Media Operations and Analytics
- Ensure proper campaign set-up and execution including trafficking and tracking of all placements through Google Campaign Manager
- Advanced knowledge of campaign and platform analytics with the ability to use data to determine ideal budgets across channels
- Provide estimated performance projections based on media plan recommendations
- Measure channel effectiveness against established KPIs and desired business outcomes

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work or internship experience
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing and paid digital media channels
- Expertise in Google Campaign Manager
- Understanding of social advertising platforms and tools (Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter, etc.)
- Experience with retargeting, audience segmentation and lead generation
- Experience working on multiple campaign types, including brand awareness, demand generation, lead generation and ABM.
- Ability to manage against aggressive timelines with flexibility to rapidly shift priorities
- Knowledge of digital tactics (paid social media, paid search, etc.) and how they work together
- Preferred experience planning, executing, and managing additional channels (paid social platforms, paid search, offline tactics, etc.)
What you will need
- Act as a key member of the media team, to help build paid media campaigns that deliver on client objectives
- Work with media vendors by building relationships, sending request for proposals, negotiating pricing, etc.
- Maintain status reports on all ongoing media projects
- Lead in the development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, reporting and optimization of online or traditional media buys
- Analyze reports and works with the performance team (Search, Social, Display/Video) and planning team to recommend needed optimization and changes
- Review vendor media kits, provide POVs and maintain vendor database
- Communicate day to day digital media related needs and outstanding project tasks to the account service team, project manager and performance teams for any interactive media campaigns
- Assist the team in staying abreast of emerging trends and communicating innovative, business-building new media recommendations
- Maintain campaign timelines relating to media deliverables
- Process invoices, maintain finance chart on invoices and campaign finances to ensure that media vendors are paid properly and on time
