Position Overview

Under supervision, the Therapist, provides individual, group, family and/or couples therapy and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family. 

Compensation Range:

  • Therapist I (Associate License - hourly): $32.69 - $35.57
  • Therapist II (Independent License - salaried): $75,000 - $88,000 

Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position.

Schedule

  • 1.0 FTE, (40hrs/week) working Sunday through Thursday approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm. 

How Therapists Empower Recovery

  • Ensure the strictest adherence to professional boundaries with clients, consistently upholding ethical standards and creating a safe, respectful environment for all interactions. 
  • Co-Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients and their support networks, as assigned, to address specific therapeutic needs.
  • Oversee a caseload of clients, ensuring comprehensive delivery of both individual and family therapy according to the assigned treatment plan.
  • Create, implement, and continuously monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with the client's evolving therapeutic needs and goals.
  • Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities in the treatment of clients, ensuring interventions are grounded in the latest research and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and coaching during individual client and family meals when clinically indicated, promoting healthy eating behaviors, and addressing disordered eating patterns.
  • Actively contribute to treatment team discussions by sharing client assessments, family dynamics, and responses to therapeutic interventions.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary case conceptualization, contributing to the development of holistic and integrative treatment plans.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration within the multidisciplinary team to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.
  • Perform comprehensive intake evaluations to assess new clients, gathering essential clinical information to inform treatment planning.
  • Support the therapeutic environment by assisting with milieu management as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all clients.
  • Communicate effectively with the Utilization Review team to provide necessary clinical data for insurance continued stay reviews and approvals.
  • Generate detailed discharge plans, making informed recommendations for continued care and coordinating transitions to the next level of care services.
  • Work closely with external professionals and community agencies to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care for client’s post-discharge.
  • Participate in both administrative and clinical supervision sessions, proactively seeking guidance and feedback to enhance professional practice.
  • Fulfill all mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance and professional competency.
  • Regularly attend scheduled meetings to stay informed and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Drive clients, staff, and supplies using the company vehicle when necessary, ensuring safety and compliance with transportation protocols.
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team’s overall mission.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications:   

  • Current Provisional or Associate licensure required in the state of employment required.  
  • Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required.    

Professional Qualifications:  

  • Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required.  
  • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred.  
  • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred  
  • Computer proficiency required.   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.   

Other Qualifications:  

  • Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.   
  • Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.    
  • Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.    
  • Employees at Residential site in Washington are required to have a Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire.
