Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
At Sweet Candy while we have been in business for over 100 years we are future focused and have some of the most advanced confectionary machines in the world. We also have some machines that have been producing candy for over half a century. Our technical team is looking for a highly motivated, experienced production maintenance technician who is driven to improve machine reliability and maintenance practices. This position will be focused on maintaining all aspects of candy production and packaging with a focus toward industrial electrical controls and troubleshooting.

The Product Developer manages the process of developing new or enhancing existing products to effectively meet customer expectation and in alignment with Company strategy. This is accomplished through research, collaboration, presentation and requires blending creativity with type A level organization and time management skills. This position could have a direct report from a technician.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field of study
- 2+ years Food Manufacturing industry experience

- Possess advanced knowledge of food product design, formulation, ingredient functionality and interaction, process design, product scale-up, plant testing and commercialization
- Have a thorough understanding of food industry standards, quality and foods safety, and FDA regulations
- Be experienced with Genesis R&D Food Labeling Software by ESHA Research
- Possess Advanced Analysis, Critical Thinking and Problem-solving skills
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Work well in a collaborative and multi-cultural, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrate the ability to manage “full circle” projects within established time lines
- Be adaptable/flexible to changing priorities as well as act/react in real time
- Be results driven and proactive with ability to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence
- Consistently communicate well and effectively influence and interact with others to accomplish research goals
