We are looking for a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Lead to join our Marketing department. This individual will report into our Integrated Marketing Team Lead and oversee social strategies, content creation, influencer marketing strategy, and management. In collaboration with the Social Media Manager and Community Engagement Coordinator, this individual will develop and implement strategies to leverage social media and influencer programs for sales, brand promotion, engagement, and channel growth. This remote position is open to individuals who live in, or are open to relocating to, the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

This position requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY 3 times per year for internal meetings and team building activities. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and you’re also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond these visits – our doors are always open.

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt 

Location: Remote 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with time zone flexibility 

Base Salary: $95k – $105k per year

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Content

  • Develop and lead social media strategies that support our marketing goals.
  • Research audiences and trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Plan, create, and oversee high-quality content and posting schedules for our channels.
  • Work closely with writers, designers, and the social media manager to bring ideas to life.

Community Engagement

  • Manage our social communities by responding to comments and messages.
  • Build meaningful connections with followers and help strengthen our online presence.

Influencer Marketing

  • Create and manage influencer strategies that align with our brand.
  • Find and recruit influencers and content creators who resonate with our audience.
  • Plan and run influencer campaigns, from content creation to posting schedules.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for influencer partnerships.
  • Maintain great relationships with influencers and track campaign results to keep improving.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and support the Social Media Manager and share best practices with the team.
  • Partner with other departments to make sure our social and influencer efforts support wider company goals.
  • Stay up to date on new trends, tools, and opportunities to keep us ahead of the curve.

Requirements: 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related area.
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, social media management, influencer programs, or content marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategies, managing projects, and leading teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment where priorities may shift.
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with creatives, marketers, and business partners.
  • Self-starter who can confidently lead projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of different content channels (social, email, blog, video) and their strengths.
  • Ability to analyze content performance and apply insights to future work.
  • Excellent writing skills for various marketing, product, and sales content.
  • Ability to tailor content for different audiences and needs.
