As a Scrum Master at Strata, you will play a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers our team to achieve project goals effectively. Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum events to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Guide and coach the team in Agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Scrum practices.
- Assist in the removal of impediments and create a productive environment for the team.
- Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize the product backlog.
- Monitor and report on team progress, metrics, and upcoming deliverables to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the team regularly reflects on and enhances its practices.
- Engage with external stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and timelines.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework, with relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills to enhance team dynamics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, manage conflicts, and drive teams towards successful outcomes.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) to support project tracking and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a project management or Agile capacity.
