Provides specialized talent acquisition support through refined souring processes to support identified service lines within the Network. Supports and works closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists to collaborate and execute on innovative strategies to identify active candidates and create candidate pools for passive candidates. Provides concierge customer service during the initial screening process to assess candidate fit factors and promote the St. Luke’s (SLUHN) brand and culture.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for sourcing of leads by maintaining and updating job postings on the St. Luke’s career website, recruitment websites/platforms and journal / ad placement sites for specific service line(s) in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Specialists.
- Reviews service line(s) open positions daily and contacts qualified candidates within 24 hours of applying.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen SLUHN’s ability to attract talent with both individuals and other organizations such as community partners, colleges and universities.
- Conducts pre-screening interview with applicants and schedules interviews with recruitment and service line leadership accordingly.
- Understands service line dynamics for all campuses including but not limited to: specialty, campus vacancy rate, shift availability and location.
- Builds candidate pipelines through applicant referrals and passive candidate pools.
- Assists the recruitment team in the development of unique recruitment initiatives, including attracting passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, name generation and internet mining.
- Meets with recruitment team regularly to evaluate applicants, sourcing techniques, results, and additional sourcing options.
- As needed, represents and coordinates event participation at various recruitment events and other recruitment activities to attract qualified applicants,
- Manages and develops reporting processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis centered around ROI and effectiveness of all sourcing strategies, campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.
- Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.
- Demonstrates/models the Network’s PCRAFT values during interactions with all customers.
- Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.
- Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices
- Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.
- Demonstrates competency in the assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting up to 7 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Standing/walking up to 1 hour per day, 15 minutes at a time. Frequently uses fingers/hands for typing, computer entry, etc. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Occasionally carries, pushes or pulls an object of up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoops, bends, kneels, climbs and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general and near vision.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred. PHR, SHRM-CP certification preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) to three (3) years of talent acquisition experience required. Experience in sourcing or lead generation with an agency or in-house recruiting team preferred. Experience with talent acquisition sourcing tools and various applicant tracking systems. Prior healthcare talent acquisition experience including but not limited to sourcing / recruiting within multiple specialties such as nursing and other clinical specialties. Ability to multi-task and work in a face paced environment.
