Your Role:
As the Director, Family Engagement & Health Services, you will support the implementation of family engagement, health, mental health, and nutrition services across partner and delegate programs. This role will supervise assigned staff, collaborate with partners and delegate to strengthen systems and build staff capacity through technical assistance, coaching, and training. The Director also contributes to the development and refinement of content, tools, and training to support strong practice in family and health services. Key responsibilities include the development and execution of collaborative implementation plans with delegates and partners that support programs to achieve agreed-upon deliverables and demonstrate impact on families and communities.
What You’ll Do:
Training and Technical Assistance and Implementation Support
- Act as lead coaches to a group of partners and delegates aligning coaching and TTA work with Acelero Inc’s Professional Learning and TTA frameworks, and utilizing research-based practice to support achievement of implementation and impact goals
- Assure that partner coaching and TTA support aligns with customer success framework
- Conduct ongoing organizational assessment and co-develop Collaborative Implementation Plan (CIP) deliverables and timelines with Senior Directors of Partnership Management (SDPMs) and partners.
- Effectively utilize data to monitor progress toward CIP goals and deliverables; modify support and deliverables in real time to address changing organizational context or needs.
- Manage time allocation across contracts to ensure efficient use of staff capacity and achievement of contract deliverables and outcomes.
- Build yearly scopes of support aligned to CIP deliverables, using a mix of evidence-based strategies (e.g., individual/cohort-based coaching, in-person and virtual T&TA, and PD).
- Provide tools and resources to support partner program planning and goal progress towards implementation of programmatic benchmarks.
- Collaborate with partner service area leads to engage key stakeholders, support change management, and build sustainable systems aligned with programmatic goals.
- Provide ongoing support and training to the Model Support Specialist to ensure alignment with the content strategies and implementation benchmarks.
- Customize PD and training content to meet partners’ specific needs and contexts.
- Communicate effectively with PSI Senior Director and SDPMs regarding partner needs, implementation challenges, and potential contract modifications.
- Collaborate with SDPMs through PODs and ongoing communication to ensure customer satisfaction and sustained program impact.
- Provides targeted coaching to community partners/delegates in preparation for federal monitoring reviews, including interview prep sessions and on-site observations as needed
Content Design and Refinement Leadership
- Actively engage with PQ and Policy and Performance (P&P) teams to inform Innovation RoadMaps, applying lessons from partner and delegate engagement to identify productization priorities
- Collaborate with PQ and P&P teams to refine or adapt content, tools, and programmatic benchmarks based on partner feedback and implementation learnings
- Collaborate with PQ & P&P teams to design new content and tools to meet emerging partner needs, aligned with organizational values/ mission, Head Start standards, state regulations and evidence-based practices.
- Co-develop or revise content used in professional learning, training, or coaching sessions to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and adult learning best practices
- Document, codify, and package effective practices and supports used in partner settings to support future scalability and reusability
- Engage in pilot testing and iteration of tools and content in collaboration with PQ or product teams to support continuous improvement and usability.
- Support the alignment of T&TA with core programmatic content, contributing to cross-functional working groups focused on curriculum, policy, or compliance innovations
- Maintain familiarity with core Shine and Acelero content to ensure partner-facing services and supports reinforce key organizational models and practices
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Family and Community Engagement, Public Health (or a related field) required; master's degree preferred.
- 3+ years experience in Head Start /Early Head Start or family, community engagement and health, including experience in coaching, supervision, program management and providing technical assistance.
- Expertise in starting up HeadStart programs or early learning environments, with direct experience developing and implementing program strategies.
- Experience in program evaluation and continuous improvement processes.
- Bilingual Preferred (Spanish/English)
- Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
- Travel required locally or long-distance up to 75% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
- Travel requirements might increase depending on start-up needs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.

How Much: The range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
