THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're seeking a dynamic Web Development Manager to be our dedicated hands-on web developer, ensuring our web platforms are scalable, engaging, and aligned with our digital strategies. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will empower our team to achieve exceptional results.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the hands-on development and optimization of Salesloft's global marketing website and all associated landing pages and sub-domains. You will be a part of the Revenue Marketing team, and will work closely with web optimization and SEO managers to deliver high-performing web experiences that support our digital strategies and business objectives. Specifically, you will:
- Develop and maintain marketing web platforms and experiences, writing scalable, extensible code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and npm for both minor updates and complex projects. This includes ensuring responsiveness and performance.
- Write scalable, extensible code to create engaging digital experiences, from minor updates to complex replatforming and multi-language sites.
- Serve as a CMS technical expert, configuring custom inputs that push to the front-end application via JSON, and understanding data types, caching rules, and validation.Ensure website consistency with company digital strategies, security, legal requirements, and GDPR. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all web systems and processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date resources for team members and stakeholders.
- Own the salesloft.com domain, while supporting additional subdomains used by various teams, ensuring seamless operation and consistent engineering across digital properties.
- Provide MarTech support, including Marketo landing page and form optimization, HTML support with Swoogo, and managing Vidyard, Marketo, and Greenhouse webhooks (implemented via API embeds in our codebase) alongside Ketch webhooks (implemented through Google Tag Manager) to ensure effective data flow and system integrations.
- Collaborate with creative teams for layout and wireframing, delivering optimized templates.
- Manage project scope, priorities, and goals with various stakeholders.
- Create and implement processes for effective engineering workflows.
- Support technical SEO efforts, including best practices and technical implementation, resolving search console errors while ensuring crawlability and proper indexing.
- Provide Marketo technical support, including email development, landing pages, and form optimization.

Salesloft's Revenue Marketing team is ultimately responsible for driving quality pipeline, and is composed of passionate B2B marketing professionals dedicated to transforming the buyer-seller dynamic. As part of our team, you will contribute to Salesloft’s overall success by effectively building and optimizing our critical web properties. The Revenue Marketing team consists of data-driven demand generation marketers across Digital, ABM, Field Marketing, and Events that are motivated, ambitious and passionate about supporting our pipeline and revenue goals.
We are looking for a full-stack web developer with a proven track record of building and managing robust B2B SaaS marketing sites. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and thrive in a fast-paced environment. THE SKILL SET:

- Web Engineering Expertise: You have 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Modern Framework Proficiency: You possess strong experience with responsive web design, JavaScript (ES6), Node, and Git. You are proficient in React and React-based frameworks.
- CMS Mastery: You have extensive experience creating and customizing content management systems (ContentStack preferred), with a deep understanding of platform functionality.
- Web Hook Management: You have experience managing webhooks, including Vidyard, Marketo, and Greenhouse, implemented via API embeds in our codebase, alongside Ketch webhooks, implemented through Google Tag Manager, to ensure effective data flow and system integrations
- Cookie Compliance Management: You have extensive experience managing cookie compliance providers like Ketch, with a deep understanding of their platform functionality and associated tag management customizations to ensure website consistency with digital strategies, security, legal requirements, and GDPR.
- Marketing Technology Acumen: You are familiar with Marketo, SASS, and Agile methodologies. You can provide technical support for Marketo, including email development, landing pages, and form optimization.
- Scalability & Performance: You understand functional and reactive programming paradigms. Experience replatforming websites and managing multi-language sites is a plus.
- Execution & Collaboration: You have a solid portfolio demonstrating the development of high-performing B2B SaaS websites.
- English Proficiency: You have strong English language proficiency and can communicate effectively and easily with global teammates. Your proficiency specifically includes digital marketing and demand generation terminology that enable you to ensure successful collaboration and campaign execution.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Participate in Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation to understand our company culture.
- Meet with your manager to discuss role expectations and initial tasks.
- Review Salesloft’s basic positioning, messaging, and target audience information.
- Gain an understanding of Salesloft’s current web development processes and infrastructure.
- Start contributing to ongoing web development tasks, from minor updates to feature enhancements.
- Begin assessing current web development bottlenecks and areas for immediate improvement.
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to optimize website layouts and templates.
- Begin implementing best practices for scalable code and improved site performance.
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Actively contribute to optimizing our web infrastructure for future scalability and efficiency, including multi-language site considerations.
- Implement new engineering workflows and processes to enhance team efficiency.
- Be a key driver of site speed, accessibility, and mobile usability improvements
- Play a critical role in the significant enhancements of Salesloft's global web properties.
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Significantly contribute to the modernization of Salesloft's web tech stack and reduction of technical debt.
