Job Description

We are looking for a Global Product Manager to join our Training Services team. Rockwell Automation's Lifecycle Services business is seeking a team-oriented, growth-minded individual with outstanding communication skills to join our Training Services Portfolio team. You will drive continued differentiation in our training services while leading the development of a long-term offering roadmap. You will be responsible for training offerings that support our strategic goal of providing lifecycle services to our customers while driving the growth of our portfolio. You will report to the Global Training Services Operation Manager and work hybrid out of Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the current and future Training Services Product Line, including Instructor-Led training and our eLearning offering, Learning+
  • Lead the strategy for outward commercial messaging of your services.
  • Jointly measure and analyze business performance with the Operations Manager to gain insights into customer buying behaviors.
  • Connect the Training Services Product Line to other businesses within Rockwell Automation to deliver total solution value to customers.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies in the training marketplace for integration and development of standard portfolio offerings.
  • Evaluate new and emerging Rockwell Automation products to determine which products require training products created to support it and when.
  • Represent Rockwell Automation at training industry events and provide expertise to the industrial marketplace.
  • Identify customer needs and collect customer requirements globally from various sources to understand market problems.
  • Lead product line marketing, including presenting concepts, business cases, value propositions, and development to key stakeholders and executives.
  • Collaborate with multiple services and technology Business Unit Product Managers to ensure the roadmap of products/services/initiatives is widely understood, supported, and aligned with the broader company strategic and product roadmaps.
  • Identify gaps between the desired roadmap and the realizable roadmap, including options for bridging the gap.
  • Advocate for the voice of the customer in the product development process.
  • Track and drive year-over-year growth around product lines under direct control.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Marketing, Business Development, and Sales to develop marketing plans and commercial launch activities.
  • Interface with the product development team and provide input on detailed requirements during development.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires 8+ years of experience in product management, product development, sales, marketing, or a related field in the area of ICS cybersecurity.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Marketing.
  • Commercial background and knowledge of training offerings.
  • Expertise in current industrial training trends, competitive landscape, and service gaps.
  • Experience guiding teams through complex and ambiguous scenarios.
  • Experience communicating complex concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive teams.
  • Previous global experience.
  • 10-15% travel expected.
