per year

Job Description

As a Product Manager on Ridgeline’s Performance Reporting & Analytics team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a next-generation performance measurement and analytics product that’s core to our investment management platform. We’re building a modern, scalable engine for return calculations, benchmarks, contribution and attribution analysis, and analytics across portfolios, strategies, and asset classes. Our mission is to deliver institutional-grade performance capabilities with the flexibility and transparency today’s asset managers expect—built from the ground up on a cloud-native architecture.

You’ll work directly with Product Strategy, Engineering, and customers to define and prioritize business requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and guide the product from concept to delivery. This is a unique opportunity to influence foundational capabilities in a high-growth, high-impact area of Ridgeline’s product suite, working closely with a cross-functional team at the intersection of accounting, reporting, and data services.

Key Expectations

  • Bring deep domain knowledge in performance measurement and analytics to a cross-functional team where product, strategy, and engineering work closely together.
  • Partner with engineers throughout the software development lifecycle—from requirements definition and design reviews through implementation and delivery.
  • Define and document detailed use cases, data flows, and calculation logic to enable scalable and performant system design.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product accuracy and reliability, particularly in complex financial data scenarios.
  • Support the Customer Success team in onboarding and implementing customers with sophisticated performance needs.
  • Own problems, think creatively, seek simple solutions to complex workflows, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to a learning-focused, transparent team culture with a strong sense of shared purpose.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience in financial technology, with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade products.
  • Strong domain expertise in performance measurement and analytics, including experience with return methodologies (TWR, IRR), benchmarks, contribution/attribution, or performance analysis.
  • Experience working with financial data models, services-based architectures, and reporting or analytics tools.
  • Technical fluency with SQL, APIs, and database query structures; ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and data teams.
  • Prior experience in performance reporting, investment analytics, or accounting platforms is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field; CFA or CIPM designation is a plus.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work across teams and levels of seniority.
  • Serious interest in having fun at work.
