Job Description

The Senior Manager, Technology Stack Operations is a key leadership position responsible for the performance, integration, and evolution of the toolsets that power Resultant’s Managed Services operations. This role owns the operational integrity and lifecycle of our ITSM, RMM, documentation, monitoring, and automation platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, process rigor, technical fluency, and a passion for continuous improvement to help drive scalable service delivery and enhanced client outcomes

Key Responsibilities

  • Toolset Ownership & Performance
    • Serve as the operational owner of the MSP technology stack (e.g., ConnectWise, Rewst, Liongard, IT Glue, CloudRadial).
    • Ensure platforms are optimized, integrated, and aligned to business needs and service delivery goals.
    • Maintain high availability, performance, and usability of platforms through governance and proactive maintenance.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Partner with Service Delivery, Security, and Engineering teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance technician experience.
    • Lead automation initiatives and ensure tool capabilities are fully leveraged to drive efficiency and reduce reactive effort.
  • Strategy & Roadmap
    • Develop and manage a forward-looking roadmap for MSP tools that aligns with organizational priorities, emerging technologies, and client demands.
    • Evaluate new tools and technologies for potential inclusion in the stack; lead proof of concepts and vendor assessments.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers and automation specialists supporting toolset administration and enhancement.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Change Management & Enablement
    • Lead rollout strategies for new tools and features, including documentation, training, and user adoption planning.
    • Ensure changes to the toolset are communicated clearly and executed with minimal disruption to service teams.

Qualifications

Some of the qualifications and skills we are expecting include the following:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations or managed services, including 2+ years in a leadership role overseeing tools/platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the MSP ecosystem, including ITSM, RMM, monitoring, documentation, and client engagement tools.
  • Proven success in designing and executing tool strategies that improve service outcomes and reduce operational friction.
  • Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Rewst, PowerShell scripting, API-based integrations).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Prior hands-on experience administering or integrating platforms like ConnectWise, Liongard, IT Glue, and CloudRadial.
  • ITIL or similar service management framework familiarity.
  • Experience leading cross-functional tool transitions or upgrades in a high-growth MSP environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
