Description
Produce highly creative visual work for print, outdoor, collateral and internet materials, as well as TV commercials. Manage own projects, working within schedule requirements. Confer with the creative director, creative manager, account executives, copywriters, and production department to maintain client requirements. This position must be able to adhere to and follow Nevada State Gaming Control and in-house casino policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in advertising or marketing design preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro required; After Effects experience is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of design principles including typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with motion graphics or video content for social media, web, and digital signage.
- This position also includes filming on-site at casino locations to capture advertising and promotional footage, events, and other branded content. Experience in this area is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with professional written communication skills (grammar, spelling, and punctuation).
- Knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts.
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Essential Job Functions:
Graphic Design
- Design marketing assets including promotional flyers, digital banners, social media graphics, email campaigns, signage, and print ads.
- Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and campaign messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative for new promotions, events, and campaigns.
- Prepare artwork for both print and digital output, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
Video Editing
- Conceptualize, edit, and produce short-form video content for promotions, events, social media, in-house screens, and TV commercials
- Add graphics, animations, and sound design to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Manage raw footage and maintain organized digital media libraries.
- Repurpose content for different platforms
Work Environment and ADA Requirements:
Must be able to sit, walk and/or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to move about the casino and operational areas freely, without restriction. Must be able to converse over the telephone in a clear and efficient manner. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and reach. Must have the manual dexterity required to write and operate computer. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. When on the casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
