Quincy Credit Union is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development & Marketing Representative to help grow our membership base through strategic outreach, relationship building, and community engagement. This individual will play a vital role in identifying opportunities to expand awareness of our products and services, while strengthening our presence in the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Member Acquisition (30%)
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and execute outreach strategies that align with membership growth objectives.
- Identify, analyze, and capitalize on internal and external opportunities for new member growth.
- Manage a pipeline of leads and partnerships, track engagement activities, and report on performance metrics.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations based on data and market trends.
Community Outreach & Relationship Building (20%)
- Serve as a community ambassador for Quincy Credit Union by attending local events, expos, and networking functions.
- Foster relationships with key community stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and support credit union growth.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and assess their impact on membership and engagement.
Prospecting & Networking (30%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community groups, and partner organizations.
- Attend chamber of commerce events, business meetings, and community functions to promote membership opportunities.
- Organize and lead informational sessions, workshops, and events aligned with CRA and member acquisition efforts.
Internal Collaboration (10%)
- Work closely with branch managers and cross-functional teams to support shared growth objectives.
- Align outreach activities with internal marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Support coordination of events and promotional efforts alongside the marketing team.
Marketing Support (10%)
- Assist with updating and monitoring marketing materials across channels to ensure brand consistency and audience engagement.
- Support day-to-day marketing efforts as needed.
Performance Metrics
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Achievement of membership and loan growth targets.
- Quality and effectiveness of outreach activities.
- Contribution to brand visibility and community impact.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, community outreach, or marketing—preferably in financial services or a member-driven organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Communications.
- Outgoing, community-oriented, and excellent communication and consultative sales skills.
- Comfortable prospecting and building new relationships; able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Committed to delivering outstanding member service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, and social media platforms.
