PURVIS has an immediate opening for a Lead Logistician to work at our customer location in Newport, to support a government Naval program. This position will lead a team of Logisticians to support development, acquiring, installation, modernization and maintenance of the Navy’s Electromagnetic Systems.
\n- Review, validate, organize, and update configuration and logistics data hosted in the Navy’s Configuration and Data Management Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
- Knowledge or certification in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Analyze supply data, predict shortfalls, and recommend solutions to Navy customers
- Experience reviewing and reporting data from Navy logistics information systems such as the WEBFLIS, FedMall, Navy One Touch Support (OTS), NUWC Keyport Data Aggregation & Research Tool (DART), Haystack/Logiquest, PMSMIS, ILIT, etc.
- Develop and present logistics material at the Program Office level.
- Main point of contact for customer interface.
- Conduct RCM analyses and update existing Maintenance Index Pages and Maintenance Requirements Cards using Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) editing software.
- Develop/review Provisioning Technical Data using the Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS).
- Support the review and validation of logistics products and services to sustain system operational readiness including the submission of CDMD-OA configuration work files and Navy Data Environment (NDE) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certification packages.
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years professional experience.
- US Navy service in the submarine force is a plus.
- Skilled at using the Microsoft O365 Suite (i.e., Excel, Outlook, Teams, Planner, Word, PowerPoint).
- Accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated individual with ability to work independently, as well as lead a team with customers, peers, and support personnel.
Candidates for this position must be able to obtain a government clearance to the level of SECRET.
