Navis Food Partners, a leading foodservice company with annual revenues of $600 million, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a critical role in shaping how we attract, engage, and hire top talent across the growing Navis Food Partners portfolio. This position leads full-cycle recruitment efforts and drives the design and continuous improvement of scalable, high-impact hiring practices. With the ability to recruit for a wide range of roles—from frontline and hourly positions to professional and executive-level talent—this individual is both a strategic partner and hands-on expert. The ideal candidate brings a process mindset, a passion for candidate experience, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Key Functions
- Manages full-cycle recruiting for a diverse range of roles, warehouse, transportation, hourly, professional and executive positions across departments and U.S. operating companies.
- Partners with hiring managers to develop clear, accurate job descriptions and well-defined hiring criteria aligned with business needs.
- Develops and applies targeted recruiting strategies and methods tailored to the requirements of each role to ensure efficient and effective hiring outcomes.
- Oversees job posting and advertising strategies to drive visibility and candidate flow.
- Reviews applications and proactively identifies qualified candidates for further consideration.
- Coordinates and schedules interviews; ensures preparation of interview questions, evaluation tools, and other selection materials.
- Leads collaboration with hiring managers and HR partners to develop and extend competitive offers aligned with internal equity and candidate expectations.
- Maintains timely and consistent communication with candidates throughout each stage of the hiring process.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Leads the effort to attend and represent the Company at job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Designs, refines and implements recruiting processes, workflows, and tools that are adaptable to various roles and business functions, while training hiring managers on the process and holding them accountable for meeting time-to-fill targets.
- Partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and create success profiles for each level of hire.
- Leverages a mix of sourcing strategies to proactively build talent pipelines for both high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
- Optimizes use of the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring clean data, compliance, and reporting capabilities.
- Standardizes job descriptions, interview guides, and evaluation criteria to support structured and equitable hiring.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports on recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness) to inform continuous improvement.
- Fosters a positive, consistent candidate experience at every stage of the hiring process.
- Collaborates with HR, hiring managers, business leaders, and third-party recruiting partners, as needed.
- Supports employer branding and outreach strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates aligned with our company values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent recruiting experience.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including recruitment for hourly, professional, and executive-level positions as an internal company recruiter.
- Previous experience recruiting in food distribution, food industry or CPG industry, preferred.
- Proven success in developing or enhancing talent acquisition processes in dynamic environments.
- Comfortable with high-volume and specialized recruiting in both field and corporate settings.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
- Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and closing skills across varied job families and levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
- Analytical and data-driven; confident using recruiting metrics to guide strategy and track progress.
