What We Are Looking For

Persado is looking for a high-energy Senior People Operations Specialist to join our EMEA HR team, based in Athens! You will play a key role in supporting our global workforce, enhancing the employee experience, and driving operational excellence across HR processes and programs.

What You Will Work On

  • Own and manage payroll and benefits administration for EU and UK employees, serving as the subject matter expert on related matters
  • Manage new hire onboarding and employee offboarding for EU & UK employees
  • Maintain and update data within our HRIS and across other systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
  • Advise and support managers on HR policies, employee relations, performance management and day to day matters
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated employee queries or issues, ensuring resolution with empathy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations; stay current on legal updates and proactively adapt internal policies
  • Lead audits and internal reviews to ensure adherence to labor laws, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and company standards
  • Design, implement, and launch People Programs in collaboration with with the People Team (e.g. Performance Management Reviews and Employee Engagement Survey)
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to EMEA employees, both in-person and remotely, ensuring timely and effective service delivery

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably combined with a Master’s Degree in HR
  • 3-5 years proven experience in HR operations functions within a multinational or fast-paced tech environment
  • Experience working with employee benefits and payroll
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements
  • Experienced with BambooHR, Lattice or similar systems will be considered a plus
  • Self-assured and comfortable being challenged and in presenting rationale for change
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Fluency in written and spoken Greek and English language
