Non-Exempt temporary position. This position is an early career business development role with client-facing responsibilities, with an emphasis on writing and an indirect people leadership role across multiple corporate operations and regions.  Reports to the Vice President of Business Development for Nuclear Services, and will support marketing, proposal, and business development activities while providing administrative support to all members of the Nuclear Services Business Development division. 


Duties

· Responsible for researching industry trends, supporting market strategies for new offerings; identifying new business opportunities; coordinating meetings; continuously improving administrative, marketing, and proposal processes; and supporting the pursuit process for major opportunities.  

· Collaborates internally with other Perma-Fix business units and regional offices, with an external focus to maximize existing client opportunities and develop new clients. As such, career growth opportunities available for this position include proposal coordination and management, business development, marketing, and/or technical writing. 

· Provides support to the business development division by prioritizing client requirements in proposal settings, providing administrative support for proposal coordination, CRM functions, and close-out assignments. Coordinate, file, and disseminate RFPs, articles, blog posting, conference presentations, events, agreements, and other information required for business development operations to function smoothly. Must be comfortable with deadline-driven assignments. 

· This full-time, in-person position supports the Perma-Fix Oak Ridge operations center with opportunities for travel nationwide. Traditional and 9/80 work week options are available.

· Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications

· Earned or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or related degree. 

· Must be able to speak and write in fluent English.

· US citizenship required.


Preferred Qualifications

· Federal grant or proposal experience related to writing, coordination, and/or administration.


Working Conditions
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to normal office conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
