Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Professionally communicate with customers in a timely manner. 
  • Interface with customers for Bill of Material updates, process improvements, and order status updates.  
  • Decide on customer requests such as expedites, quantity adjustments, pull ins, push outs, etc. 
  • Utilize customer portals to update status or retrieve required data.  
  • Notify the customer of any potential impacts to their orders.  
  • Interface with all internal departments.  
  • Identify and report all shortages (“Held for Items”) to applicable department Leads/Managers.  
  • Coordinate job priority through production.
  • Revise established information in ERP when needed.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Requirements

  • Customer service skills; able to relate well to all internal and external customers in a professional manner.  
  • Working knowledge of shop flow, machines, and manufacturing processes.  
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.  
  • Some experience using Epicor or other ERP systems.

Wage Range:

The pay range for this role considers several factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, education, and other business needs.

  • Consistent use of computer. 
  • Consistent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material.
  • Consistent use of vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and spatial relationship.
  • Consistent use of hearing ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Consistent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions.
  • Frequent lifting of 5 or 10 pounds, with occasional lifting to 35 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses.
  • Occasional exposure to excess noise levels, occasionally necessitating the use of Hearing Protection.
