Technical SEO Consultant - Agentic AI startup

Join NinjaTech AI is hiring a highly skilled Technical SEO Consultant to optimize our website's technical infrastructure and improve search engine performance.

This role focuses on the technical aspects of SEO rather than content creation, emphasizing site structure, page speed optimization, crawlability, and data-driven decision making.

The consultant's location must be in the United States or Canada. This is a contract position.

The ideal candidate will be a technical SEO specialist who uses SEO analysis tools to identify opportunities and gaps, makes decisions based on concrete data, and has deep expertise in website architecture and performance optimization.

What you will do:

Technical SEO Optimization:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawlability issues
- Optimize website architecture, URL structure, and internal linking strategies
- Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals performance across all devices
- Implement and optimize XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and canonical tag structures
- Resolve technical issues, including redirect chains, broken links, and duplicate content
- Optimize website for mobile-first indexing and ensure mobile responsiveness
- Implement and manage efforts for enhanced search results
- Work with development teams to implement technical improvements

Data Analysis:
- Use data-driven approaches to prioritize SEO improvements and measure impact
- Provide strategic recommendations based on competitive landscape analysis
- Track and report on key technical SEO metrics

Required Qualifications:
Experience with technical SEO tools such as:
- Screaming Frog SEO Spider
- Google Search Console & Google Analytics
- SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar enterprise SEO platforms
- Page speed testing tools (PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, WebPageTest)-

-Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - ability to read, understand, and make recommendations for code optimization
-Proven experience with data-driven decision making - must be able to articulate what data sources and metrics you use to make SEO recommendations
-Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel/Google Sheets, and preferably SQL or Python for data manipulation

-Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on technical SEO experience
-Proven track record of improving website technical performance and search rankings
-Portfolio of successful technical SEO projects with measurable results
