Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Accounts Payable Coordinator

  • Responsible for processing all programming, tech & marketing invoices (track, code, submit into appropriate systems for approval)  

  •  Ensure all invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts and cost objects  

  •  Troubleshoot any invoice processing, system errors or payment issues  

  •  Set up automated payment schedules for eligible deals  

  •  Update and maintain pay schedules within Profin (Programming subledger); work with cross-functional teams (legal, editorial, etc.) for Profin contract/payment set-up  

  •  Update cash models and reconcile with invoice trackers  

  •  Create purchase orders according to deal terms  

  • Ownership of the vendor management process (vendor registration, routine vendor updates including bank account and key contact changes, and invoice tracking) 

  •  Answer vendor inquiries and interact with vendors regarding issues relating to invoices  

  •  Cash tracking/tie-out between GL & Programming expense files for pacing, estimates, close, etc.  

  •  Proactively work with management to achieve department goals  

  •  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned on an ad-hoc basis 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • 1+ years experience in a finance, accounting or AP role 

  • Solid technical skills – organized, accurate & detail-oriented  

  • Must have excellent PC skills with strong proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
