Role Overview:
The Project Manager owns the end-to-end installation and onboarding process for new and existing clients.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must fit in the Metergy culture where emphasis is placed on:
- Pro-active communication and issue identification to help the business stay ahead of potential issues to develop sufficient mitigation plans to minimize impact to business and Metergy clients and customers
- Continuous improvement to help the business operations evolve with changing market conditions and business growth plans.
\n- Manage medium to large scale projects for existing and new construction buildings for the purpose of managing the installation and commissioning process including the full project lifecycle: scope, cost, schedule and quality.
- Communicate professionally and often, cross-departmentally, an with contractors, clients, customers, and local regulatory authorities.
- Create, schedule and manage work orders, and determine/order relevant equipment needed for projects.
- Conduct kick-off, on-going and closing meetings for projects to identify possible risks, correct issues and document status updates.
- Identify and escalate issues with projects and/or processes early and often, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct detailed site visits with contractors, site managers, and property managers to gather appropriate technical, business and client requirements relevant to projects.
- Actively participate in and drive key departmental process and procedure improvement programs as required.
- Provide technical analysis of drawings and/or electrical systems to help support contractors and internal staff on the project.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Experience communicating verbally, written and electronically with internal and external field resources and clients.
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trades. Experience with metering and submetering systems is a plus.
- Experience managing projects and accompanying budgets.
- Familiarity with some of the applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Well versed in Microsoft applications
