Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence in Construction Survey, Architecture, and Design Build services. The ideal candidate will have deep industry connections, a passion for client engagement, and a proven ability to generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute annual business development plans in collaboration with company leadership.
· Identify and pursue new client opportunities in key markets.
· Leverage existing relationships and industry knowledge to build a robust pipeline.
· Lead proposal strategy and development, including writing key sections and coordinating input from internal teams.
· Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams to respond to RFPs and prepare bid submissions.
· Establish and maintain relationships with architects, developers, and commercial real estate professionals.
· Track industry trends and client movements to stay ahead of opportunities.
· Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems related to leads, contacts, and project pursuits.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of business development experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry; design-build experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Marketing (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of design and construction industry practices.
- Established industry relationships and a successful track record of generating business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
