Hiring a product manager to build out the team responsible for global marketing for CathWorks and additional digital transformation business offerings in the future.

Through our partnership with CathWorks, Medtronic has embarked on a new and exciting opportunity. Not only entering the growing coronary physiology market with the revolutionary CathWorks FFRangio® System, but also taking a huge leap into digitally transforming the diagnosis and care of patients with coronary artery disease.  The CathWorks FFRangio® System combines artificial intelligence and advanced computational science to obtain physiologic information from routine angiograms, eliminating the need for drug stimulation and invasive pressure wires. It provides physicians with a quick and reliable intraprocedural physiologic assessment for the entire coronary tree. Our team and this role will have a chance to play a big part in making the way physicians assess which patients need treatment more informed, less invasive, and safer!

We need your product and portfolio management skills to develop global marketing plans,  reach physician customers through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and continue to grow FFRangio towards standard of care.

A Day in the Life:

  • Leading the development of short and long-term strategic marketing plans integrating commercial strategy, product promotion, internal training, evidence strategy, and medical education. Leading teams to achieve ambitious goals that meet business goals and ensure successful response from customers
  • Working closely with regional marketing peers to drive geography expansion and commercial performance, account targeting and segmentation, communications, training, pricing, forecasting and evidence dissemination globally
  • Developing unique positioning and messaging for FFRangio, clinical data releases, and combining FFRangio with the rest of our Coronary portfolio
  • Monitoring competitive product launches, clinical data releases, and trends. Preparing response plans and driving regional execution of competitive sales and marketing initiatives
  • Building relationship with key opinion leaders. Actively leading physician discussions related to the coronary product portfolio at regional programs, key account visits, and international conferences and incorporating their input into our marketing plans
  • Providing expert support to global sales & marketing teams via training, regional customer programs and key account visits.
  • Representing the ‘voice of the customer’ and driving optimal utilization of market information and analysis to guide insights and decision-making
  • Developing and executing impactful plans for conferences, seminars, and webinars that enhance relationships, provide educational value, and promote the benefits of our products
  • Providing senior management and cross-functional partners with updates, reports, content, and presentations regarding marketing initiatives
  • Coaching and mentoring product managers to boost the performance of the overall team
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders to understand, define, and drive key elements of marketing and launch plans including market research, supply forecasting, tracking R&D updates, and evidence generation and communication
  • Global travel as needed, approximately 20-25%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • You will need a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of marketing, sales, sales support or technical experience to be considered (5 years with Advanced Degree)
  • Product launch or product or program management experience

Nice to Have:

  • MBA
  • Experience in medical device or related industry
  • Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing plans across geographies, product lines, and customer types
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
  • Experience in product management of a software and/or capital equipment product within the healthcare or other regulated industry
  • Strong clinical acumen and familiarity with clinical trials, statistical analysis, or vascular physiology through either academic training or job experience
  • Ability to turn detailed data analysis into succinct, useful strategic insight
  • Proven track record of leadership, self-motivation and taking initiative, can-do attitude, driving results in complicated environments, and effectively operating and delivering with minimal direction

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$132,800.00 - $199,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
