We are excited to be hiring an experienced Project Coordinator IV to work with our fast paced, Pelvic Health Global Marketing team!  Each day, you'll get a chance to solve complex problems for the team using your skills in administration, project coordination, problem solving, and resolution. The position requires that you think critically and make sound decisions. You must be extremely flexible and have a high EQ to manage your daily workload in this non-structured environment. You will work with a high level of confidential information critical to the business and must always ensure data integrity. It will be important to be able to work across multiple functions and take initiative to ensure the needs of the team are met. This role will include interactions with high-level contacts, both internally and externally, and have exposure to sensitive information requiring use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgement.

The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the leadership team and other team members with administrative tasks, project coordination and general clerical support.  Being onsite at Medtronic’s Operational Headquarters in Fridley, MN, you will be the anchor for our Pelvic Health team. The role reports to Vice President of Global Marketing for Pelvic Health.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide project or program support for the team which may include monitoring program/project/system status, budgets, and timetables.

  • Identify issues and use effective problem-solving techniques, tact, and discretion in managing a variety of situations. Independently identify reasonable alternatives and recommend alternative approaches to Vice President, Director and others.

  • Lead and coordinate special projects as directed

  • Make adjustments or recommend enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.

  • Apply knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and administration of projects and procedures, including presentations to the Senior Leaders, and key stakeholders.

  • Perform various administrative duties including research, travel arrangements (including comprehensive international travel), complex meeting scheduling/calendar management, candidate interviews, and expense reporting. Understand the processes required to support someone with extensive travel demands.

  • Provide administrative support for complex meetings, demonstrating capability in audio conferences, video conferences, and a mastery of other technology as needed. Plan, prepare, and coordinate special meetings including agendas, meeting materials, logistics, action items, travel, and catering.

  • Maintain confidential records, files, legal agreements, organizational charts, and distribution lists

  • Order services, supplies and equipment

  • Prepare shipping labels and customs documents and tracking as necessary

  • Acts as an information resource on organizational policies and procedures

  • Draft correspondence, reports, and forms. Demonstrate effective cultural sensitivity in titles and names. Superior usage of grammar, formatting, and identifying errors is also very important.

  • Act as liaison with other Administrative Assistants to share information and develop policies and procedures.

  • Gather and compile information for reports, presentations, and dashboards.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting senior level executives in a corporate setting

  • Software proficiency: MS Office, Zoom, Sharepoint

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality using independent judgement and discretion

  • Project management 

  • Ability to take initiative and be self-directed

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$62,400.00 - $93,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
