Engineer, System Integration Test
Job Description
You Will:
- Work with integration engineers to identify, generate and implement test cases and verification criteria for a system under test.
- Work with test manager to configure test setups and test runs according to the test plan.
- Develop test automation, automate test tools, generate and improve automation scripts.
- Document and track issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Develop, plan and execute component and/ sub-system level testing including AC and DC charging tests, document and report test results.
- Collaborate with Controls teams, System Engineers, plan test activities.
- Escalate issues as appropriate with various stakeholders.
- Help identify gaps in requirements and work with the relevant engineers to update the requirement documents accordingly.
- Help with test scalability for new and upcoming products.
- Support Hardware in Loop test teams to test features to cover any gap.
- Participate in test infrastructure development for upcoming programs to improve the test coverage.
- Own the test infrastructure and maintain it. And keep improving the test scope and test automation.
- Good understanding of basic electronics to root cause any test infrastructure issues
- Participate in the design of a world-class engineering effort to bring electric vehicles to a new level of refinement.
Basic Requirements:
- 2+ years automotive testing experience.
- 2+ years of experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, CANoe DiVa or similar tools to test Diagnostics
- 2+ years of knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS, and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
- Working knowledge of electrified powertrains
- 2+ years of experience working with High Voltage systems, J1772, NACS is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience with test case automation, Functional safety testing, CAPL scripting is a plus.
