LotusWorks is seeking a motivated and hands-on Human Resource Intern to join our Medford, MA team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain meaningful experience in a dynamic HR environment, supporting a range of responsibilities across employee onboarding, HR systems, engagement, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and compliant employee records (e.g., I-9 verification, internal movement tracking).

  • Help update HR documents, including policy templates and onboarding materials.

  • Support onboarding logistics and propose improvements to enhance the experience.

  • Provide administrative assistance for scheduling, communications, and HR documentation.

  • Shadow employee lifecycle activities to gain insight into operational HR functions.

Systems, Data & Process Improvement

  • Help monitor data consistency in core systems (Paycom, Greenhouse, Absorb LMS, SharePoint).

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities (e.g., forms updates, file organization).

  • Assist with HR metrics tracking, compiling data for summaries and reports.

  • Contribute to talent project documentation, such as resume formatting and skills profiles.

  • Gain hands-on exposure to industry-standard HR systems.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Assist in executing wellness, recognition, and benefit awareness initiatives across US locations.

  • Help track employee feedback and follow-ups from engagement surveys.

  • Maintain and refresh content on SharePoint and Prezi.

  • Offer creative input to enhance the employee experience.

  • Support planning and coordination of employee events and webinars.

Strategic Projects & Global Coordination

  • Shadow and support global coordination tasks and track project timelines.

  • Assist with administrative preparation and follow-up on initiatives (e.g., talent reviews, Paycom rollout).

  • Support data compilation and formatting for leadership presentations.

 

Skills Required:

  • Strong initiative and ability to pick things up quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a course in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
