Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. Overview
As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of integrated system components within our industrial machinery and manufacturing environments. You will play a key role in connecting software, hardware, and control systems, enabling scalable, automated production at the core of our battery technology.
Responsibilities

- Integrate high-level system components across manufacturing equipment and industrial automation platforms.
- Develop and maintain PLC code for control-based automation and robotic systems.
- Implement and support EtherCAT communication protocols and TwinCAT-based controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
- Write and maintain C++ and Python code for real-time control applications, data handling, and database interactions.
- Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of integrated solutions across factory environments.
- Maintain and optimize systems using Beckhoff and Rockwell automation hardware and software.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in system integration for industrial machinery, automation, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in PLC development and control system architecture.
- Experience working with TwinCAT (preferred) and EtherCAT-based systems.
- Strong background in C++ programming and Python scripting.
- Familiarity with industrial databases and data-driven automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Beckhoff and/or Rockwell Automation platforms (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
Salary - 165-200K + equity - dependent on experience
