Job Description

As a Benefits Account Manager, you’ll be the point person for our clients, managing their benefits accounts and delivering next-level service. You’ll work closely with Producers to support sales and marketing efforts while building strong, long-lasting relationships. If you love multitasking, solving problems, and making clients feel like VIPs, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

  • Keep client files organized and up to date in agency systems (Applied/AMS, Health Connect).

  • Track and assist with renewals 45–60 days in advance.

  • Coordinate enrollment meetings and ensure benefit materials are prepped and ready to shine.

  • Handle client service calls and turn challenges into solutions.

  • Create benefit proposals and comparison spreadsheets (Excel wizards, this is your moment!).

  • Scrub case submissions and follow up on underwriting approvals.

  • Stay current on ERISA, ACA, and other applicable regulations.

  • Ensure client interactions and documentation are always spot-on and compliant.

  • Experience:

    • 2–4 years of Employee Benefits Account Management, with small and large group renewals.

      Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

Skills:

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication.

  • A multitasker with a laser focus on details.

  • Experience using Benefits Admin Platforms: Ease, Employee Navigator

    Agency Management Systems: BenefitPoint and

    Microsoft Office Pro: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
