Master Electrician Estimator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Estimator with a Master Electrician license and a strong background in Commercial Real Estate to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for leading the estimating efforts for large-scale commercial electrical projects, providing accurate and competitive cost assessments, and working closely with developers, general contractors, and project stakeholders to support successful project acquisition and execution.

• Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate estimates for electrical systems in commercial real estate projects, including office buildings, retail, industrial, mixed-use developments, and more.
• Review and interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and specifications to develop cost estimates.
• Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs based on current market conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients during the preconstruction phase.
• Conduct site walks and assessments as needed to ensure accurate scope definition.
• Analyze historical data and current trends to continuously improve the accuracy of estimates.
• Prepare bid packages and responses to RFPs, including value engineering proposals and cost-saving recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners to ensure competitive pricing and up-to-date cost information.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the development of estimating tools and best practices.
