About the role
The Principal Architect, Business within Kinaxis’ Solution Assurance team plays a vital role in customers’ supply chain transformation journey. Leveraging their supply chain management and process engineering expertise, they’ll collaborate with Solution Architects to design optimized solutions and implement best practices throughout the lifecycle of the deployment that ensure seamless deployments and deliver measurable value.
What you will do
- Understand customers’ current business models, supply chain processes and pain points, and drive alignment to a future state built around Kinaxis’ Maestro solution.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to review the solution blueprints with focus on business process engineering based on industry’s best practices and relevant Maestro capabilities.
- Within the Centre of Excellence Design, evaluate the maturity of the COE and benchmark against industry best practices to develop and provide guidance on future state for the COE.
- Provide guidance on change management to map out planning stages and readiness considerations for solution deployment and new approaches to future planning.
- Translate the value of Kinaxis processes, solution, and change management methodologies to ensure stakeholder alignment with the designed solution.
- Prepare for future implementations leveraging industry templates, customer blueprint methodology, draft user stories and shaping agenda for future solution blueprint.
- Develop education and presentation materials for use by internal teams, customers and Leadership team.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and effectively, fostering strong collaboration with partners and customers.
What we are looking for
- College/University degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, demand planning, computer science, informationtechnology or related discipline.
- Broad expertise and knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes, concepts, best practices and functional supply chain solutions.
- Proficiency in analytics, dashboards and scorecards; SQL skills and relational database experience is an asset.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with other internal groups including documentation, curriculum development, project management, and deployment consultants.
- Project management expertise including risk mitigating, resource planning, and mobilizing resources to conduct quality work within deadlines.
- Advanced analytical, design, and systems thinking skills, and a clear understanding of changemanagement.
- Extensive knowledge of tactical and operative planning processes.
Role Specific Skills and experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Maestro solution functionality.
- Excellent communication and ability to effectively facilitate meetings, including brainstorming sessions. Able to present information in an engaging manner to a diverse audience.
- Excellent influencing skills, even without direct authority.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well across all levels in the organization.
- Ability to build strong relationships and credibility with internal & external stakeholders.
- Open to travel 50% on average and can work effectively when working remotely from client sites.
