Job Description
Compensation: $105,000-140,000 + annual bonus eligible
Location: Washington, DC. Our in-office team comes together to collaborate in our Dupont Circle office Tuesday through Thursday and works from home Monday and Friday.

Your Mission
As the Proposal & Sales Enablement Manager, your mission is to lead the creation of persuasive, high-quality proposals and RFP responses that clearly communicate our value proposition and align with the strategic goals of the business. You will serve as a critical partner to the Sales and Revenue teams, ensuring that every customer-facing document is compelling, compliant, and tailored to win.
Beyond proposal development, you will also play a key role in internal sales enablement—owning the organization of sales collateral, supporting pitch deck development, managing internal communications, and building resources like sales playbooks and Confluence content. You’ll also contribute to account research and preparation, helping to evolve and maintain our target account list by identifying new opportunities and providing strategic insights. Through your efforts, you’ll help streamline go-to-market execution, elevate brand consistency, and empower teams across the organization with the tools and messaging they need to succeed.
You will report to Fareha Ahmed, Head of Business Operations.
\n- Proposal Development and Management:
- Proposal Creation: Support the sales team by developing high-quality, tailored proposals for prospects, incorporating strong messaging, branding, and value propositions
- Content Management: Maintain and update a library of proposal content and templates to streamline future development
- RFP (Request for Proposal) Process Management:
- RFP Intake and Analysis: Lead the review and detailed analysis of incoming RFPs to assess requirements, evaluation criteria, submission instructions, and potential red flags. Attend RFP information sessions, bidder conferences, and Q&A forums as necessary, gathering critical insights and clarifications to inform the proposal strategy
- Project Management: Develop a detailed project plan with clearly defined tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities. Assign action items across internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, Product, etc.) to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive response
- Final Assembly and Submission: Oversee the compilation, quality review, and on-time submission of RFP responses, ensuring that all requirements are met and that the submission presents a unified, polished final product
- Sales Enablement & Internal Marketing:
- Sales Collateral Management: Own and maintain internal sales content libraries (slides, sell sheets, case studies). Be the point person for locating, updating, and improving materials
- Deck Development Support: Partner with Sales to create compelling, story-driven pitch decks and meeting materials
- Collateral Creation: Draft or manage the production of new sales collateral in coordination with design, marketing, and subject matter experts.
- Internal Communications: Lead or assist in writing and publishing regular internal updates such as company newsletters, go-to-market announcements, and team wins
- Playbook Development: Create and maintain Sales and Delivery playbooks to document repeatable processes, best practices, and key messaging
- Confluence Management: Build and update internal knowledge bases and content hubs on Confluence or other collaboration tools
- Experienced Professional: 5–10 years of experience in proposal writing, RFP management, marketing or sales operations, or related roles within consulting, technical services, or B2B environments.
- Skilled Storyteller: You know how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with various audiences and align with strategic goals.
- Creative & Resourceful: Able to identify gaps in existing resources and collaborate to fill them.
- Driven & Self-Motivated:You bring a strong internal drive to succeed and consistently demonstrate discretionary effort—going the extra mile to deliver high-quality work even when it’s not explicitly required.
- Proven experience coordinating RFP responses and working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong Communicator: Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous in reviewing content, formatting, and deadlines.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities; comfortable managing complex timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Efficient & Organized: Capable of managing multiple projects with clarity and accountability.
- Familiarity with sales tools e.g., CRM systems, document automation, content management platforms. Experience maintaining Confluence or similar internal documentation platforms is a plus.
