About the Role

EdTech is one of the most exciting and high-impact spaces in SaaS, and Incident IQ is building the operational backbone that powers K–12 schools. Our platform supports the critical work behind the scenes: managing assets, resolving IT issues, streamlining support workflows, and enabling district teams to operate at their best. When schools run smoothly, teachers can teach and students can thrive.

As we grow, we’re looking for a demand generation leader who’s just as passionate about the mission as they are about performance. Someone who sees the opportunity to shape a category and who gets excited about building a high-performing marketing engine in service of a purpose that matters. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love solving tough GTM problems, and want to make an impact you can see in the real world, this role is for you.

We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Demand Generation to own execution of the programs and channels that drive marketing-sourced pipeline across all inbound and outbound marketing-led channels (excluding Events and SDRs). This role manages a team of Integrated Marketing Specialists, a Web/SEO specialist, and a paid media contractor. You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Creative, RevOps, Sales, and Events to launch targeted, high-impact programs that move the needle.

You’ll also partner on the development of our broader demand strategy—one centered on building layered, persona-driven programs that span the buyer journey. We’re past the early-stage scrappiness but not yet at enterprise scale. This is a unique phase where smart systems, strong leadership, and a bias for action will define how we grow. It’s a chance to make a visible impact and help shape how marketing drives growth at scale.

If you’re ready to build something meaningful—and want to do it with a smart, driven, and collaborative team—we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Program & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own execution of all inbound and outbound programs that drive marketing-sourced pipeline (excluding Events and SDRs)
  • Lead execution of Strategic Programs, Targeted Demand Campaigns, and Automated Nurture Campaigns that generate engagement, convert interest to inquiry, and drive MQOs and pipeline
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Creative to shape and share content that drives demand across the funnel
  • Contribute to and execute the demand gen strategy in collaboration with the VP of Marketing, aligning programs to business objectives, sales coverage, and campaign priorities
  • Monitor and improve performance across each stage of the funnel, from initial engagement to qualified opportunity

Channel Leadership

Own day-to-day execution and performance across all major digital demand channels:

  • Paid Media – including strategy, budget, and contractor oversight
  • SEO – including optimization, content coordination, and technical execution
  • Website and CRO – including testing plans, conversion tracking, and lead flow design
  • Email and Marketing Automation – including nurture programs and engagement workflows (Marketo preferred)
  • Intent and Retargeting Programs – including coordination with ABM tools and remarketing platforms

You don’t need to be an expert in every channel, but you should be dangerous enough to drive tactical execution, optimize performance, and upskill yourself to confidently own the results.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and coach a team of Integrated Marketing Specialists and a Web/SEO specialist
  • Set clear execution standards, provide campaign oversight, and ensure consistency across programs
  • Build and document repeatable processes that support scale
  • Actively mentor team members and help them grow into stronger marketers

Optimization & Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing Ops to analyze performance and apply insights to improve conversion
  • Collaborate across Sales, SDR, Creative, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Events to ensure campaign alignment
  • Use funnel data to continuously improve targeting, sequencing, and messaging across programs
  • Identify conversion gaps, systemic issues, or opportunity areas—and lead the execution to address them

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience in SaaS, with a track record of owning programs that drive pipeline
  • Strong tactical execution skills across paid media, SEO, email, marketing automation, website performance, and outbound marketing
  • Experience working cross-functionally to turn content strategy into high-performing, market-facing programs
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Marketo strongly preferred) and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with ABM and intent tools (e.g., 6sense or similar) is a plus
  • Fluency with analytics and tracking tools like GA4, Google Ads, and channel performance dashboards
  • A collaborative approach—you’ve worked closely with teams like Sales, PMM, Creative, Ops, and CS
  • Experience managing people and vendors while staying close to execution
  • Analytical mindset—you know how to interpret data and take action to improve results
  • A builder’s mentality—you’re energized by solving problems, creating systems, and helping a business scale
  • A positive, team-first attitude—you want to do great work with great people
