Job Summary
The Senior PACS Analyst plays a crucial role in the management and maintenance of our Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), ensuring optimal operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include data gathering and analysis, report preparation and processing, system installations and upgrades, troubleshooting and resolving errors, fostering positive relationships with external vendors and stakeholders, addressing system issues and user concerns, and performing necessary repairs.
This position is an integral part of the PACS team, collaborating with colleagues to guarantee reliable equipment performance and timely resolution of all system-related issues.
Details
Hours: Full-time, including weekend availability
Location: Chicagoland area. While this role has a regional focus, coverage of all IBJI locations is required.
Supervisor: PACS Administrator
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and support a variety of imaging modalities, including MRI, Ultrasound, Bone Density, X-ray, and Scopes.
- Respond to support requests from radiology departments, travel to various locations as needed.
- Participate in a rotational weekend support schedule.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare discipline or information systems discipline is required.
- 2-3 years of PACS experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure and manage concurrent, multidisciplinary projects.
- Proficiency in standard office automation systems is required.
- Familiarity with specific radiology applications, particularly the Konica Minolta Exa PACS platform, is preferred.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
