IHG engages guests through emails delivering reservation details, offers, loyalty messaging, promotions and awareness communications. As an Email Marketing Manager, you will work on the global team, collaborating with our partners in campaign, creative, analytics, product and technology, and our agency partners.  In this role, you will execute the development and evolution of dynamic, personalized emails designed to drive the company goals, key brand initiatives, and marketing campaign results. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role ideal for someone with an eye for detail and the bigger picture. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about hospitality, love great emails, and enjoy working with a dedicated team of professionals.

 

Your day to day   

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of IHG’s email marketing program, including email campaigns, technology solutions, integrations and processes.
  • Stay current on email marketing industry trends, concepts and standards to enable the business to evolve in today’s rapidly changing environment – including global data privacy policies and accessibility requirements.
  • Recommend and implement strategic initiatives that deliver relevant, optimized, personalized experiences through email and push marketing and drive marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships – cross-functional team members, stakeholders, senior leadership, and vendor partners. Partner with IHG’s Creative Services team and vendor partners to deliver best-in-class email marketing and creative.
  • Support a service-oriented team culture and mindset, balancing strategic thought-leadership with delivery and execution for our global brands while earning trust and credibility along the way.

 

 What we need from you   

 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital, Advertising, Business or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
  • 5+ years progressive work-related experience and demonstrated proficiency in email marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, loyalty marketing, communications, preferably in an international business and/or within travel/hospitality industry
  • 2-4 years managing teams and/or significant complex projects with strong project management skills to juggle multiple projects often having tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position. Specific experience in SFMC is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in digital development, marketing automation, CRM tools, marketing automation, and content/relationship marketing preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the email marketing landscape, principles, and industry best practices – including global data privacy laws.
  • Ability to develop and present data-driven recommendations successfully, promote items persuasively, and shape the opinions of others
  • Experience engaging and influencing cross-functional working partnerships in a global organization. Excellent organizational skills with extreme attention to detail, accuracy and accountability

 

Location -.  Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office.  This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.   

The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $110,000 This role is also eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
