As a Senior Financial Analyst you play a critical role in our mission; you will not only help prepare company financials, but will also be participating in our Accounting month-end process, working closely with our offices, and helping strategize company initiatives and budgets while reporting directly to the Vice President, Finance.
What You’ll Do:
Support Strategic Financial Initiatives: Work closely with the VP of Finance to execute core initiatives aimed at improving operational and financial performance.
Lead Reporting Efforts: Own and manage reporting processes, serving as the primary liaison between operational and financial teams to enhance data visibility and impact.
Deliver Monthly Strategic Insights: Conduct monthly analytics across teams, identifying trends and opportunities to increase efficiency and performance.
Provide Ongoing Operational Analytics: Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to operational leadership to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
Serve as a Data Expert: Become a subject matter expert on business data sources, building a deep understanding of how operational drivers impact financial outcomes.
Automate Reporting Tools: Increase productivity and accuracy by creating automated tools and applications for data aggregation and reporting.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with departments including Operations, IT, Training, Marketing, Payroll, and more to support the execution of high-priority initiatives.
Support Senior Management: Perform and coordinate various administrative tasks and planning efforts to assist executive leadership.
Assist FP&A Department: Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to support the goals and functions of the FP&A team.
What you will need:
Education:
Undergraduate degree in an analytical field such as Engineering, Economics, Business, Accounting, or Finance (required)
Graduate degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA, etc.) is a plus
Experience:
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, project management, corporate finance, or operations
Open to training the right candidate with strong foundational skills
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
Experience in budgeting, planning, and financial strategy development
Analytical & Communication Skills:
Fast learner with strong analytical and data-driven thinking
Ability to synthesize data and prioritize actionable insights
Effective communicator able to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior leaders

What do you need to have to be a part of our team?
Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 2 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
DeNovo Offices: New acquired offices may require travel.
