Job Description
The Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced HCV Director to oversee the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service delivery across both programs. The Director will lead and support program managers, ensure HUD compliance, and collaborate with executive leadership on strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct day-to-day operations of HCV program
Supervise and develop program managers and staff
Ensure HUD compliance and performance standards are met
Oversee budgets, reporting, and operational policy
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of housing program management experience
Strong leadership, compliance, and communication skills
HUD program knowledge required (HCV, Public Housing)
