Senior Product Manager

Homebound Dallas Full-time
$90,000
per year

Job Description

Homebound is on a mission to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to build a home using technology. Created by an experienced team of construction, real estate, design, and technology experts, Homebound is transforming the residential construction industry by improving the costly and inefficient process of building a home.

We’ve created an entirely new way to build homes with technology powering every stage from start to finish to provide a seamless experience for our customers. Homeowners across the country can choose where they want to live, select a home plan that’s perfect for them, then personalize and buy it, all online. Homebound has raised $150M in capital from leading venture capitalists like Google, Khosla, Thrive Ventures, and we’re scaling quickly in places like Texas, Colorado and Florida. Come build your future with us.

Homebound is proud to be named one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces of 2023.

About the Role

We’re looking for a senior product manager who is passionate about building technology that transforms how homes are built. As a critical member of the product team at Homebound, you’ll be embedded in the Dallas market, working hand-in-hand with our field teams — from construction operations to procurement, land, and sales — to deeply understand how they use our software and where we can make it better.

This is not a behind-the-desk product role. You’ll be in the field, walking homes, training users, and building relationships with every stakeholder to ensure our software is not just used, but loved. You’ll be responsible for driving adoption and performance outcomes in the Dallas region and bringing those insights back to our engineering teams to drive meaningful improvements.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the product team’s eyes and ears on the ground in Dallas, embedding yourself with field teams and becoming an expert in their day-to-day operations

  • Drive adoption of Homebound’s software by training users, identifying blockers, and promoting best practices
Own adoption and impact KPIs for the Dallas market and partner with central teams to close gaps

  • Build strong relationships across construction operations, procurement, land development, sales, and other field orgs to ensure their feedback is heard and acted on

  • Identify opportunities for new features, workflow improvements, and refinements based on firsthand observation and structured input

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and other product managers to translate insights into product requirements

  • Walk homes with construction teams to see firsthand how the tools are (or aren’t) supporting fieldwork

  • Lead training sessions and change management efforts as new features roll out

  • Be a relentless advocate for the user and a trusted voice of the Dallas market in internal product discussions

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience, ideally with some hands-on exposure to residential construction

  • Deep empathy for users in the field and a passion for building tools that make their work easier

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form trusted relationships across a wide variety of roles, from superintendents to VPs with proven success influencing without authority

  • A bias toward action and comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience balancing local tactical needs with broader product strategy across multiple regions or markets

  • Strong experience defining, owning, and reporting on success metrics and confidence analyzing adoption data, diagnosing friction points, and proposing pragmatic solutions

  • Clear and effective communication skills, especially when translating between field needs and technical teams

  • Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, BuildPro, SupplyPro, or similar tools is a strong plus

  • Must be in the Dallas office a minimum of three days per week and frequently in the field

We will accept applications for this role until July 18, 2025.

We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you’re excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply. To apply, please submit an application with your resume on the Career’s page.
