Job Description

We’re seeking two Temporary Customer Support Representatives to assist with a critical customer communication initiative scheduled from July through October 2025. These contractors will play a frontline role in notifying a specific segment of customers about an upcoming price adjustment, addressing their concerns, and supporting next steps.

This is a customer-facing role that involves phone and email communication. Ideal candidates are empathetic, clear communicators who are comfortable handling sensitive conversations and common objections with professionalism and poise.

Responsibilities

  • Contact assigned customers by email and Zoom phone calls to communicate details of the upcoming price increase.
  • Confidently handle objections and concerns, using guidance provided during training.
  • Accurately reference customer-specific information such as account history, product usage, and price changes from Google Sheets.
  • Maintain detailed, structured call notes using Planhat (CS platform).
  • Follow defined escalation protocols for customers requesting management involvement.
  • If trained, assist in drafting and sending updated contracts to customers after conversations.
  • Track communication completion status using Google Sheets.
  • Prior experience in a customer support, CSR, or client-facing role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and confident navigating challenging conversations
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive communicator
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
