Temporary Technical Service Representative
Job Description
We’re seeking two Temporary Customer Support Representatives to assist with a critical customer communication initiative scheduled from July through October 2025. These contractors will play a frontline role in notifying a specific segment of customers about an upcoming price adjustment, addressing their concerns, and supporting next steps.
This is a customer-facing role that involves phone and email communication. Ideal candidates are empathetic, clear communicators who are comfortable handling sensitive conversations and common objections with professionalism and poise.
Responsibilities
- Contact assigned customers by email and Zoom phone calls to communicate details of the upcoming price increase.
- Confidently handle objections and concerns, using guidance provided during training.
- Accurately reference customer-specific information such as account history, product usage, and price changes from Google Sheets.
- Maintain detailed, structured call notes using Planhat (CS platform).
- Follow defined escalation protocols for customers requesting management involvement.
- If trained, assist in drafting and sending updated contracts to customers after conversations.
- Track communication completion status using Google Sheets.
- Prior experience in a customer support, CSR, or client-facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Calm under pressure and confident navigating challenging conversations
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new systems
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive communicator
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
