Requirements
Position Summary:
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business development team. This role involves developing strategies to drive business growth, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The supervisor will mentor and support team members, ensuring their professional growth and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with senior management to align business development initiatives with overall company strategy.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor the business development team.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies.
- Prepare and present market analysis reports to senior management.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and monitor sales targets and performance metrics.
- Implement initiatives to drive sales growth and increase revenue.
- Track and report on sales performance against targets.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the business development budget.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to support business development initiatives.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.
